Yesterday, I passed my Storage CCIE lab v2. For those looking for storage practice – look no further! The iementor workbook, walkthrough workbook and remote Vrack are your ultimate learning tools. They capture the accents of the real lab with hard hands-on practice (especially the vrack which is setup perfectly for the SAN lab exam). These are the tips I have for those of you out there looking for practice and experience: 1. the exam is hard and demanding, especially because you have limited time, stress level is high and you have many tasks to accomplish. 2. you have to know the theory (yes – for the lab) and you have to have a lots of hands-on, do not trust your small available lab, you need the big, real one. 3. you have to be fast, to find ways to do things faster. 4. you have to know how to deal with pressure. Before deciding to go for this SP Bootcamp, I made my homework looking at the options available. Being from Europe, I quickly realized there was no "local" classes in my region worth looking at. Thus the classes run in US was my next stop. After having read reviews and looked at the bootcamp setup, IEMentor with Roman came out as the best alternative. Late March 2009, I attended the Bootcamp in Herndon, VA - just off Dulles/DC. From start I knew this was going to be a grueling week - 12-14 hours per day is not to be underestimated. My "fears"/wishes were quickly realized as Roman got us started on the Lab work - his Master Lab is certainly setup to humble you before the task at hand and makes/forces you re-evaluate the knowledge base you have (or thought you had...). Roman is an excellent tutor, who makes sure all understand the why's - not just the solutions themselves. If you're looking for a CCIE SP class to take you to the next/end level of preparations, this is it. Come well prepared though.... this is not for the faint of heart.

I would like to thank Roman & IEMentor for their tremendous support and I highly recommend that their course contents covers all the difficult areas such as Inter-AS as Multicast. Their Bootcamp covers the entire BLUE Print for CCIE Service Provider. Most advantage is even after you finish the Bootcamp they will provide a continues support until you clear the LAB. I recently attended the SP Bootcamp v3 and have nothing but praise for this course and our instructor Roman. Roman was able to breakdown and explain each section of the CCIE SP blue print. Roman's knowledge of the blue print allowed us to understand what is being asked and how to apply the proper configuration. This Bootcamp lasts five days with one day of lecture and the remaining four days for the master lab. During the lab Roman would cover each section to ensure that everyone was familiar with the solutions and configurations. Roman will devote as much time that is needed to ensure everyone if comfortable with the lab. I have had several colleagues attend CCIE SP bootcamp through ieMentor with nothing but praises and I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone preparing for the CCIE SP lab. David Whithed
