CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 by wolfgang sisignano Date Added: Thursday 04 February, 2010
CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 it was a real new experience when I visit the bootcamp. Be prepared well due to there is not so much time to talk about the basic stuff, but when you leave you have a different view of your preparation. If you master the Monsterlab then you can have the magic number soon. For me it is clear when I got the magic number, then it was because I visit this bootcamp. About Roman, I\'m already visiting technical trainings since around 20 Years and must say seldom / may never meet a person which was so helpful and understand his business so well and finally always helpfull and friendly. For me is clear, if you have a chance to visit a training with him do it, you will enjoy and get so many ideas for your further preparation. Thanx to Roman for the time which we spent together. CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 by Albert Ignacio Date Added: Thursday 04 February, 2010
CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 Roman has truly mastered the art of teaching this material. He understands how to break down the topics to anyone at at any level. This is a skill that is lost when attending other classroom instruction. Yes, it's impressive for an instructor to have multiple CCIE's as in other course offerings at other vendors and especially Roman here with 6 but to find someone that possesses his skill level and that can truly TEACH the material is a blessing. I definitely learned a lot in this bootcamp. It was very challenging. Most of all, you are left with plenty of direction in your preparation. I do recommend this particular bootcamp as it is the best combination of lecture and lab while covering the entire blueprint. Make sure to try to learn most of the topics before coming as it is not an intro to the topics. It is not a beginners or learning the fundamentals type class. If you cover the material beforehand at a fundamental level, you'll find a lot of clarification throughout the tougher topics like Inter-AS MPLS VPN, CSC, Multicast VPN and Inter-AS Multicast VPN. But also, you'll gain a deeper level of understanding of the core topics like MPLS, MPLS VPN, etc. As others in the review section and the class outline has indicated, the lecture will cover the blueprint during the 1st and maybe part of the 2nd day but the rest of the week is lab. During the lab portion each student will have his own virtual rack to configure the Master Lab(s) section by section and Roman will go over each section with the class after they're through configuring that particular section. In this bootcamp there was one thing that particularly stood out for me. I especially liked how Roman is completely approachable when needing help understanding a particular topic that he already went over. Not only will he stop what he's doing to help you but he also will constantly ask everyone one-by-one in the classroom to see if you have any questions or need help with a particular area. So, there is plenty of one-on-one instruction if needed. Roman has a passion for technology and teaching and genuinely wants you to succeed. I am not a CCIE just yet but when I do achieve my magic number I know that this bootcamp was critical during my preparation. Thanks, Albert Ignacio

CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 The CCIE SP bootcamp was excellent. Roman was extremely knowledgable and helpful on all the topics on the blueprint. The master lab was very challenging and forced you to really think out of the box.

CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 by Joni Oksanen Date Added: Monday 05 October, 2009
CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 The Service Provider bootcamp is without a doubt worth of every penny. In addition to great hands-on practice, Roman is able to explain even the most complex technologies in such a way that they feel like a walk in the park. He goes through the entire blueprint concentrating on the aspects that you are most likely to come across in the real lab. Structure of the class is also superb. First one and half days is used to go through the theories covering the entire blueprint, followed by three days of hands-on and finally some tips how to use Cisco Online Documentation to help you to pass your lab. Master lab is really a masterpiece and represents how things can be done in a really complicated manner. It really challenged your brains and creativity, and it was especially broadening to notice how things can be solved in different ways, still fulfilling the requirements.

CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 by Aamir Memon Date Added: Tuesday 29 September, 2009
CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 I think it was very well designed and delivered bootcamp. Your execution was perfect. Particularly your lab setup was amazing, since it did not held back the class due to the progress of any one person. I think that this is a critical differentiator from other vendors since in the past I have seen classes where the whole class has to stay together and on one person could be left behind. But given that you arranged lab setup for each person individually, helped every individual to work on the labs and its contents at their own pace. Aamir Memon - Cisco Systems

CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 by Jan Viljoen Date Added: Monday 28 September, 2009
CCIE Service Provider Bootcamp v3.0 In the words of Julius Caesar: Veni, vidi, vici - We Came, We Saw, We Conquered ! The Bootcamp was everything its reputations made it out to be - It gave us a clear understanding of all the different Service Provider Technologies covered by the blue print and defiantly changed our thought process with regards to configuration and troubleshooting. Roman is a brilliant instructor and we defiantly enjoyed the experience - every question posed to him had a clear answer every time we hit a stumble block - he had a clear explanation and gave us a much better understanding of the problem and how to resolve it. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking at achieving success with the SP CCIE lab! Truly a winning recipe !
